The play THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE MOON MARIGOLDS is a MASTERPIECE that diserves everyones attention and should be included in every text book, however, I am really sorry BUT the synopsis that is given inhere is horrible!!! Please, make it more up to the point! I think you have not highlighted what should have been underlined in the plot! Again, this is a GREAT WORK OF DISCOURSE with a sincere insight!!!
By the way the Russian TV version is great!!!!!!!!!!

I attended Tottenville HS 1966-1970
Mr Zindel was 1 of my teachers. But most of all,he was a friend that I think of often and I treasure the wisdom and words of encouragement he always found the time to share. I feel privilaged to have known him. He was a great man.

I need to know Paul Zindel's writing syle in The Pigman. The use of symbolism, irony, point of view, information about the characters, how they were created, most commonly useed themes, and the tone Paul Zindel takes toward his subject matter.

We recently read "The Pigman" and enjoyed the humor, romance, suspence, and moving messages in the novel. John's character is great and motivating for us guys to read about since we don't read much. Unfortunately, we could relate to this book in many ways since life today is complicated and full of difficult decisions for teens. Thanks Paul Zindel for writing something to us teenagers.

I recently found out that Mr. Zindel had passed away.

Just wanted to say that I'm very grateful for his books. My favorites are The Pigman, The Pigman's Legacy, The Undertaker's Gone Bananas, Harry and Hortense at Hormone High, and A Begonia For Miss Applebaum.

I am quite thankful that we read The Pigman back in elementary school. If it weren't for that, I might still not have read any of these wonderful books.

Thank you so much.

I think that to get the credit loans from banks you ought to present a great reason. However, once I have got a auto loan, because I wanted to buy a house.

Dear Paul,

I am trying to do a project for my English class in which we must contact a published author. I was wondering if you would be willing to answer some questions, basically do a via email interview? If you could it would really help me out. It would not take much time and I would greatly appreciate it. Please let me know what you think and if it is okay with you I will forward you the question I have. Thanks so much.

Dani

I read this book when I was in fifth grade and I cried when I finished. I'm a freshman in college now, and I just finished reading it again and I couldnt keep from crying again. After reading the letters in the back, I decided to write a letter to Mr Zindel, because he touched me then and even now and I wanted him to know it, only to find out he died. Im sad because its like our pigman has died... Its sad to see the comments of those kids who believed Paul to be living, but it shows something eternal and timeless about his work, which i think is worth the grief or at least makes it sting a little less. So, thank you Paul Zindel, my friend of almost a decade for showing me a life worth living, for everything

I cried bitter tears when Paul Zindel passed away in 2003. I felt like I had lost a friend. He was a great writer and my favorite of his novels is The Undertaker's Gone Bananas, it's such a fun and suspenseful book. God bless you, Paul Zindel. Thanks for contributing so many great books to my teen years. You will always be remembered.

We finished the story the Pigman and we were wondering why did you choose to not progress John and Lorrianne's romantic relationship a little more?

Also, why did you reference the homeless man in the story?

Our class just finished the Pigman and was wondering why did the story deal with so much death? First Conchetta, then Bobo, and then good old Mr. P, was death something you dealt with alot?

Also, the omens foreshadowed death too.

Our class read the story The Pigman and we found the theme to reveal selfishness among teens today, why did you choose to compare it to the baboons?

Also, the characters in the story portray regrets in life, do you have any regrets in your life that appeared in the story?
